Our special Tanzania project:

For our next trip to Tanzania we want to concentrate on the on-the-ground community education Positive Exposure does best. Portraits, videos, presentations, and visual educational tools are all part of our strategy.

Our regular program initiatives include:

1. Positive Exposure’s ground-breaking Genetics Curriculum for Medical Students and health care professionals in training
   
   
2. PE’s paradigm-changing Web-based genetic condition image library (in development)


3. International data base collection and grass-roots advocacy through “Spirit of Difference” Self-Esteem/Body Image photo sessions and video interviews


4. “Compassion and the Art of Medicine” multi-media presentations/exhibitions at Children’s Hospitals, Science Museums and other public venues  


5. “Self-Esteem/ Body Image” workshops for K-12 students, addressing issues of diversity and discrimination
